Author will provide an agreed upon number of books. Up to a maximum of 10 books per pop up event.
B.O.B. is not responsible for purchasing the inventory, the author will be compensated sales less a 25% sellers fee (which covers all associated costs of payment interest and fees and event expenses). Any unsold inventory will be returned to you in the same condition as provided.
Authors are welcome to help set up, take down and staff during the event day and can benefit with a discounted sellers fee of only 20% instead of 25%. Encouraged, but not mandatory!
Authors are responsible for dropping off and picking up their inventory. To be arranged with B.O.B closer to event date.
Authors agree to share and spread the word about upcoming events on social media and through your network and connections.
Due to the nature of the pop up bookstore, there are no returns or refunds of sales.
B.O.B. does not guarantee sale of your book.
Authors are welcome to provide marketing brochures or materials to promote their book.
At this point in time there are no discounts on any of the inventory being sold. Price of the book is determined by the author and each book must be labelled as such.
B.O.B will be responsible for charging and claiming GST on all sales. The author will be provided a statement of inventory sold less 25% sellers fee and then payment by either email transfer or cheque within 7 days of each pop up show.
All books will be equally promoted and marketed at event.
B.O.B. reserves the right to determine if a book is not appropriate for sale. All books will have a theme that is of a positive nature and respectful message.
Authors are not considered affiliates of B.O.B.
B.O.B. will share/promote the author's book on it’s Facebook page (redirecting to/if an online shop/store link.)
