Experienced in the world of design for the past 15 years. Crystal’s creative journey has been unexpected if not unique, not unlike all creative professional’s path. Boasting a Bachelor’s of Kinesiology degree from the University of Calgary and from there pursued sports administration. While working at the U of C’s Campus Recreation and DINOS Athletics’ department she was exposed to marketing and design. A woman with an opinion on how things should look – she was lucky to have employers who encouraged these goals. Taking advantage of the educational system on campus to pursue her design journey leading to freelance work on the side.

With so much information out there… Crystal isn’t one who likes’ to read much. Preferring to get to the guts or point of information – this is how she looks at her designs. Communicating with as little copy as needed. Using visual cues to grab a reader’s attention is key. Over the years she has found a love for print design. When it comes to creating designs that make their way onto paper, screen, signage, windows or packaging – she has the experience.

As a solo professional, working with Crystal means a working relationship where she works with clients directly to create a collaborative vision from start to finish. No go-between here. Comfortable working in both MAC and PC she uses the Adobe Creative Suite software, an industry standard, to breathe life into her creations.
